This Privacy Policy explains how AIOM Shift collects, uses, stores, and shares information when employees, managers, drivers, restaurants, companies, or authorized business users use the AIOM Shift mobile application, web dashboard, and related services.

AIOM Shift is a workforce management application used for employee attendance, check-in and check-out, staff scheduling, task management, checklist management, HR requests, order-related operations, salary visibility, and driver live location tracking.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the features enabled by the employer, company, or organization using AIOM Shift, we may collect the following types of information:

Account and Profile Information

We may collect name, email address, phone number, employee ID, profile photo, company name, branch name, job role, department, and login information.

Attendance and Shift Information

We may collect check-in time, check-out time, break time, attendance status, shift schedule, late arrival status, absence records, overtime records, and work activity connected to attendance.

Location Data

AIOM Shift may access, collect, and store location data from the user's device.

This may include approximate location, precise GPS location, latitude, longitude, timestamp, movement status, and location accuracy.

We use location data for the following purposes:

  • To verify employee check-in and check-out location
  • To confirm whether an employee is near an assigned branch or workplace
  • To support attendance and workforce management
  • To show live driver location to authorized managers, dispatchers, or company admins during working hours or assigned delivery tasks
  • To help manage delivery operations and order movement
  • To prevent false attendance, misuse, or unauthorized check-ins
  • To support operational safety and business accountability

If live tracking or background location is enabled, AIOM Shift may collect location data while the app is running in the background, but only for work-related features such as driver live location, active shift tracking, delivery operations, or attendance verification where this is required by the employer or organization.

Location data is not sold. Location data is not used for advertising.

Device and Technical Information

We may collect device type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, push notification token, crash logs, diagnostics, and general usage information needed to keep the app secure and functional.

Task, Checklist, and Work Activity Data

We may collect task status, checklist answers, uploaded notes, order-related updates, requests submitted to HR or management, and other work-related information entered by the user.

Salary and HR Information

If enabled by the employer, AIOM Shift may display or process salary-related information, payroll summaries, leave requests, HR requests, approvals, and employee-related administrative records.

Uploaded Content

Users or managers may upload profile images, documents, attachments, task photos, checklist photos, or HR-related files if these features are enabled.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide employee attendance and check-in/check-out features
  • Manage shifts, schedules, tasks, and checklists
  • Verify employee location for attendance and branch presence
  • Display driver live location for authorized business users
  • Support restaurant and delivery operations
  • Process HR requests, leave requests, and employee requests
  • Show salary or payroll-related information if enabled by the employer
  • Send app notifications related to work, attendance, shifts, tasks, approvals, and order operations
  • Improve app security, performance, and reliability

4. Who Can Access or View User Data

User data may be visible to authorized users within the same company or organization, depending on their role and permissions.

For example, a manager may view employee attendance, check-in/check-out records, task status, or driver live location if the company has enabled those features.

We do not sell user personal data or location data.

We may share or process data with trusted service providers only when needed to operate AIOM Shift. These may include cloud hosting providers, authentication providers, database providers, notification services, analytics or crash reporting tools, map/location services, and technical infrastructure providers.

These providers process data only to help us deliver, secure, maintain, or improve the app.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, companies, or our services.

6. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data, including secure cloud infrastructure, access controls, authentication, encrypted transmission where supported, and role-based access restrictions.

However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain user data only for as long as needed to provide AIOM Shift services, comply with legal or business requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support company workforce records.

Attendance, shift, HR, salary, task, order, and location records may be retained according to the employer's business needs, legal obligations, or account settings.

When data is no longer required, it may be deleted, anonymized, or securely archived.

If the user account is managed by an employer, company, or organization, some data may need to be requested through that employer or retained by the employer for legal, payroll, attendance, or business record purposes.

We will process deletion requests according to applicable laws and our contractual obligations with the company or organization using AIOM Shift.

9. User Choices and Permissions

Users can control certain device permissions, including location permission, through their device settings.

If location permission is denied, some AIOM Shift features may not work correctly, including check-in/check-out verification, branch attendance verification, and driver live location tracking.

If background location is used, the app will request permission and explain why background location is needed for work-related features.

10. Children's Privacy

AIOM Shift is designed for business and workforce management use. It is not intended for children.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of AIOM Shift after changes means the updated policy applies.
